Meagan Brannon was born and raised in Bracken County and attended St. Patrick’s school in Mason County.
She is a proud military wife, married to Charles, a Major in the Kentucky Army National Guard and mother of three children, Ben, Emma and Will. Ben was diagnosed with autism at age two and Meagan is a fierce advocate of those with autism and other disabilities. She has dedicated her career to helping others, first as a nurse, then eventually through a non-profit she co-founded in 2016 that employs and empowers Kentuckians with disabilities.
She still currently serves as the full-time director and is passionate for her cause of giving those with disabilities a chance to be included in society through employment. She serves her community through several boards, holding an executive director position on the Maysville-Mason County Chamber board, treasurer of Maysville Rotary Club, and secretary of the Maysville Main Street board. She has served on the Kentucky Autism Training Center’s board as a parent representative since 2015.
